You control your data. Deleting your account permanently removes your My Plant Logbook cloud account and the information connected to it.
Delete your account in the app
- Open My Plant Logbook and sign in.
- Open the main menu and choose My account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm permanent deletion.
Delete selected data without deleting your account
You can permanently delete an individual plant record, including its saved notes, location and photographs, while keeping your account:
- Open the plant record in your logbook.
- Choose Delete.
- Confirm that you want to delete the record.
You can also remove a photograph before saving a new or edited plant record by choosing the × button on that photograph.
If you cannot access the app
Email seannshuti@gmail.com from the address connected to your account. Use the subject “My Plant Logbook account deletion.” We may ask you to confirm control of the email address before processing the request.
What is deleted
- Your account profile and sign-in record.
- Your cloud plant entries, field notes and saved locations.
- Your uploaded plant photographs.
- Community entries connected to your account.
Retention
Deletion is permanent. Encrypted service backups may retain copies briefly until their routine expiry. Records that must be kept for legal, fraud-prevention or financial-accounting obligations may be retained only for the required period. My Plant Logbook does not retain full payment-card details.
